Snake Island & Cerveza Shoal

A current-swept, no-landmark GPS-target dive at Libaong, named for its banded sea kraits.

Cerveza Shoal — better known among divers as Snake Island — sits off Libaong, on Panglao's eastern side, at 9–30m. There's no landmark to navigate by here; boats run it as a GPS-target dive, dropping in on the shoal itself. The current that sweeps across it is what makes the dive — it's what draws in the marine life and turns the site into a proper drift.

The name comes from its resident banded sea kraits, often seen weaving between coral heads or surfacing for air. Between the current and the depth, this is PADI Advanced-diver territory (or higher) rather than a first-day dive.
